GETT ON DEMAND IS NOT A TORAH CONCEPT

Today we can observe widespread social media campaigns from agunah activists such as ORA (Oh-Rah), Flatbush Girl ( Flatbush Clown ) and other feminist activists purveying false halachic claims that women must be allowed Gett on demand because all “Gett refusal” is allegedly “domestic abuse”.

In truth, based on authentic Jewish law, feminist “Gett coercion” is usually domestic abuse nowadays.

This excellent video demonstrates with valid halachic sources that there is no authentic halachic basis for Gett on Demand.

The video may not mention it explicitly, but the Jewish law code in the Even HaEzer section requires a wife’s consent for divorce.

So neither a husband nor a wife have a halachic right to “Gett on demand”.

“Gett on demand is not a Torah concept, but an invention of rogue players in the 21th century”.
