After watching this video, it becomes apparent that Israel is one of the most dangerous places in the world for a Jewish man to undergo a divorce process.
I would also add in response to the false claims of Mr. Shlomo Riskin in the video – there is NOWHERE in the Talmud or the Rambam where the present feminist arbitrary divorce on demand culture would be allowed.
We now have a divorce on demand culture where many women are not just demanding a Get, but also demanding the children, high alimony and child support payments, and a major share of the husband’s assets, where the divorce is usually based on purely psychological claims such as “we don’t love each other”.
Such a corrupt divorce “culture” was never allowed in the Talmud, where wives were only allowed to coerce divorce based on objective evidence of extreme physical defects in the husband (see Perek 7 in Ketubot). Most of these conditions would not even be present nowadays as they would be correctable by medical science.
