Recently we have seen news reports about so-called “agunot” activists who encourage Jewish women in normal marriage relationships to use “mikvah strikes” as a method of pressuring men to become “agunot” activists.
There are various reports in the Jewish media recently about “Orthodox” feminist activists who pledge and promote so-called “sex strikes” as a tool to protest certain men involved in divorce disputes who are being accused of “Gett refusal”.
These women promoting the “sex strikes” are not married to the men they are accusing of “Gett refusal”.
I won’t even rehash here the valid halachic arguments that most of the so-called “agunot” being supported by the “sex strikes” are actually fake “agunot”.
Rather I will cite a Mishneh in Tractate Sotah, Chpt. 3 that mentions the אִשָּׁה פְרוּשָׁה (woman who abstains from sexual relations) as one of the hypocrites who destroy the world הֲרֵי אֵלּוּ מְכַלֵּי עוֹלָם.
The famous Bartenura commentary on the Mishneh explains that these hypocrites listed in the Mishneh pretend to be pious chassidim but in fact their interior does not match their outwardly pious pretensions.
There is apparently an unstated agenda of the “Orthodox” Jewish feminists to destroy as many Jewish families as possible.
The Mishneh and Bartenura were referring to a woman who abstains from sexual relations with her husband as alleged piety. One can only imagine the condemnation that the Torah sages would direct at modern day feminists who encourage other women to abstain from sex to advance anti-halachic feminist causes.
