Will anything actually change except some public hand wringing?
If these rabbis would lay down the Torah law, much could be accomplished.
For example, no Get should be done until and unless a custody schedule and custody rules that protect the children’s relationship with both parents is agreed upon by both spouses and confirmed by the family court (confirmed means submitted for approval, not a lawsuit.)
Does this mean that using the Get for leverage to protect the children is ethical, just, and halachic? Yes and yes and yes!
Do not believe the feminist BS and greedy lawyer BS that family courts won’t allow a “reasonable” custody schedule submitted by both parties. On the contrary the courts love to get the cases off their dockets!
