The anonymous, anti-Torah, uber feminist Dus Iz Nies (DIN) Blog never misses a chance to misrepresent Torah Judaism and promote fake “Orthodox” feminism.
The ignorant, misandrist feminist rantings on the DIN blog are laughable Purim material, for example: “Ora, however, follows the advice of leading and nationally recognized Poskim.” When in fact every senior rabbi with expertise in Gittin whom I’ve spoken to has strongly condemned “Oh-Rah”.
Apparently DIN obtains his encyclopedic knowledge of divorce halacha from his brilliant rebbe, uber-feminist Flatbush Girl.
Unfortunately “Flatbush Brat” seems to have misunderstood the halacha.
Halacha does not allow a woman to stay married to a husband for any length of time and then demand that the marriage be invalidated based on “ta’us”.
There is clearly a mitzvah in the Torah that a man must write a Get for his wife IF he wants to divorce her. We cannot replace the Torah with a fake feminist ploy that no Get should be required because the wife had erred when she married her husband.
In an article on the Torahweb site, RHS of YU writes that “it is transmitted in the name of Hagaon Rav Moshe Feinstein zt”l, that even in the rare case of an unusual mum gadol, through which the wife would be able to remarry without a get because of the ta’us on her part at the time of the wedding, if the woman didn’t walk away from the marriage immediately upon discovering the mum, the halacha of ta’us cannot be applied.”
