Ignoring the Torah’s child custody laws and instead hysterically pressuring the father to deliver a Get immediately, without first establishing a parenting arrangement that protects the child’s relationship with both parents, can lead to the tragic scenario described in this article.
When many women are grabbing full custody of their sons in family court, not only is this a violation of halacha, but it also can easily cause damage for boys who require a father in their life more than they require a mother.
Of course it is best if a child has both parents in their life, but this concept has been largely thrown under the bus by “Orthodox” feminists and their many supporters.
